Flavio Souza

As Research Manager, Flavio plays a key role in driving the firm’s thematic investment strategy. His responsibilities include conducting in-depth industry research, generating investment ideas, developing robust investment theses and supporting deal sourcing efforts.

Before joining Trinity Hunt, Flavio was a Consultant at Bain & Company, where he gained extensive experience across various industries, contributing to the firm's private equity and corporate strategy practices. Prior to Bain, he served as a Senior Risk Analyst and Lead Latin America Researcher at GeoQuant, Inc., a Fitch Solutions company, where he developed advanced risk models and provided insights to Fortune 100 clients on geopolitical and economic trends.

Flavio earned a Ph.D. in politics from Texas A&M University, with a focus on political risk analytics in financial markets across developed and emerging economies. He also holds dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and politics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
